Susi Pudjiastuti

        Susi Pudjiastuti is the 6th Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia. Better known as an entrepreneur. She is the owner of PT ASI Pudjiastuti Marine Product, an exporter of fishery products and PT ASI Pudjiastuti Aviation that manages Susi Air transportation. The woman born in Pangandaran is the son of Haji Ahmad Karlan and Hajjah Suwuh Lasminah. Both of his parents are known as livestock entrepreneurs in Central Java. After completing her education up to junior high school level, Susi continued her education at Yogyakarta Public High School 1. She decided to quit class 2 at SMAN I Yogyakarta after being expelled by the school because she was active in the abstentions movement at that time. In the 1980s or the New Order era, abstentions were forbidden. After not going to school again, Susi started her profession as a fish collector in Pangandaran in 1983. In 1996 she founded the fish processing factory PT ASI Pudjiastuti Marine Product with a superior product in the form of lobster with the brand 'Susi Brand'. In 2004 he founded Susi Air. Susi Air began to be established to deliver the fishery cargo of PT ASI Pudjiastuti. Now Susi Air is operated from 5 bases, namely Medan (North Sumatra), Kendari (Jakarta), Central Java (Cilacap), West Java (Pangandaran and Bandung), Balikpapan (East Kalimantan) and Jayapura (Papua). Susigot married twice. Her last husband was Christian von Strombeck, an expatriate who had worked at the IPTN (Nusantara Aircraft Industry). At present, Susie is a single mother with 3 children and 1 grandchild. Susi Pudjiastuti was appointed as Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in the Working Cabinet of Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla on October 26, 2014. Susi then moved all positions in the company to focus more on her new duties and discuss various negotiations related to regulators and business. Susi's appointment as minister had been in the public spotlight. That was because of Susi's eccentric style and the fact that she had not attended college. Lately, Susi has been in the spotlight for issuing policies issued. One of them sank a foreign ship launched by Indonesia.
